Shrub, from the Arabic word “sharab” meaning “to drink” is an old-fashioned fermented drink ideal for modern times.
Our Elderberry Shrub is made from a 15th century recipe combining the health benefits of elderberries and apple cider vinegar traditionally used for boosting the immune system.
The shrub can be used to create the perfect summer drink with soda water, ginger beer, lemonade or kefir water. It can also be used as the acidic ingredient for any marinade or vinaigrette.
Try creating a delicious cocktail or mocktail with sparkling wine, gin, sherry or vodka.
